Picking scrap to Invoice module for Odoo v12

This module allows you to scrap products from confirmed deliveries.
You can either scrap it at your location or at customer location.

Scrap from customer:

You can scrap your products directly from customer.
That way the product doesn't need to be transferred back to you to scrap it.

Scrap from company:

The other option is to scrap from your company and update picking.
First it will create a move from the customer to your stock and then to the scrap location.

How to use the module?

Sale order and delivery:

  • First navigate to Sales module and Create a new Sale order.
  • When you CONFIRM it, you will see the Delivery button in the top right.

  • After you VALIDATE the delivery a new button SCRAP will be displayed at the top.

Scrap from customer or company:
  • When you start scrapping you will see the choice to whether Scrap from customer or Scrap from company &amp update picking.
  • If you select to Scrap from customer, the moves for product will be made directly from Customer location to Scrap location.
  • If you select to Scrap from company, then the moves for product will first be made from Customer location to you Warehouse and after that to the Scrap location.

  • Now you have to select the Product you want to scrap and the Quantity.
  • If that product has enabled tracking by Lots/Serial number you will need to select it under Lots.
  • For lots you can simply scrap any quantity up to the quantity sold, however for serial numbers you will need to scrap it 1 by 1, each time with a different Serial number.

  • The last thing you can change are the Location and Scrap Location.
  • If everything is as it should be, you can click on DONE to finish the Scrap operation.

  • Let's create a Scrap from company as well, to see the differences.

Scraps:
  • You will now see new lines added under Operations tab, with the scrapped products.

  • There will also be a new button for Scraps, which you can click to see more details about them.

  • The other thing you can check up on is the Traceability Report where you will see all the moves created for those Scraps.

We provide access to all versions prior to and including Odoo Version 12.
With Odoo Version 13 and newer versions every version will be sold separately.
This module is only compatible with Community version. It is not available on Enterprise (on-premise or Odoo.sh).
The module cannot be installed on Odoo Online (Cloud), since it doesn't allow third-party modules.
For this module to work, you need the basic Invoicing module, Inventory module and Sales and Warehouse Management.
No, you can only scrap if the Delivery is in state DONE.
