FAQ
Common questions
Does the customer need an Odoo login?
No. The customer receives a protected portal link and can review the file, acknowledge it, approve it or request changes without backend access.
Can I customise the wording?
Yes. Configure acknowledgement templates for future proofs. Each proof keeps its own frozen copy of the wording that was shown to the customer.
Is this a qualified electronic signature?
No. It records an ordinary portal response to a specific file version. It is not presented as a qualified e-signature service or a universal legal guarantee.
What happens when the customer requests changes?
The comment is recorded, the quotation remains protected, and your team creates a new version with the revised exact file.
Does it block manufacturing?
The first release protects quotation confirmation. An MRP production guard is intentionally left for a future evaluation after the Sales workflow is proven.
Does it work on Odoo Online?
It works on Odoo.sh and on-premise deployments. Like other third-party modules, it cannot be installed on Odoo Online.
