Global discount can be apply on POS payment page by using Point Of Sale Discount on Payment
Key Features
- Apply global discount on POS payment page.
- User can set fixed price discount & discount based on percentage.
- Add global discount on POS order.
- Add global discount on journal entries.
Global Discount Configuration
- Navigate to the Point of Sale and click on the tripple dotted sign.
- Now, we will open Settings and go to the Pricing section.
- True global discount checkbox and set Discount Product & Discount%.
Configure Discount Product
POS Session
- Add our product in cart and set customer, then click on Payment button.
- Now, we will select Discount Fixed or Percentage to give discount.
- Set Discount Type(Fixed price discount or percentage discount) & Discount Amount.
- Then click on the Ok button.
- As we can see global discount applied on POS payment page.
- Then select our payent method and click on Validate button.
- Here we can see global discount applied on receipt.
POS Order
- As we can see global discount in POS order.
Close POS Session
- Navigate to the Point of Sale and click on the Close session button.
- Now, we will click on the Validate Closing & Post Entries button to close our current session.
Journal Entries
- Navigate to the Invoicing and click on the Accounting menu.
- Open Journal Entries sub-menu and select our entries.
- Here we can see global discount applied in journal entries.
