View and manage all Odoo messages just like with a regular email client!
Messages and internal notes only are shown (system notifications and chat/channel messages are NOT displayed!)
NB: User can only see messages posted to the records he|she has access to. If user can see the message it means that user has at least read access to the record this message is posted to. Limit access to record for limiting access to record messages - Move messages to "Trash" and restore them. Empty trash by schedule

- Configure "Conversation" as a fallback model for incoming messages. If Odoo will not find a record to route incoming message it will create a new Conversation
- Create a new Conversation manually and use it for communication with customers, suppliers, employees or any partners
- Need a private conversation? Restrict access to Conversations in User settings!
- Forward or move messages from Conversation to any other record/thread
- Empty Conversation will be deleted automatically when all messages are deleted or moved

Hello,
is it possible to move the message and create a ticket in the Helpdesk?
Could chat messages that are visible in Discuss in Odoo standard be handled through this mailbox?

Hello Kristof,
With Pro version message can be moved to helpdesk ticket however this ticket must exist already. If you want a "create and move feature" this can be done by customization.
This app doesn't show chat and discuss channel messages while such messes are better to be handled with the native discuss app.

After installing Mail Messages Easy, I cannot access the original view under "Settings / Technical / Discuss / Messages" How may I restore it?

Question: when I try to install (Odoo Online) I receive an error on missing some of the models. Is there any dependency that I need to install before to install this package ?

This module does not require any custom modules and should install on a pure Odoo with no issues. Please send your log to support at cetmix.com so we could check your issue.

We tried this for individual user email. Set up the imap and SMTP but the emails are going into a shared inbox view. Why would anyone want all user email to be in a shared view?
Also the layout starts with "width="100" border="0" /> on each row.
It is really not usable for us like this.

There is a special note in description regarding this:

This module does not affect the way how the messages are processed. It only shows messages already fetched and processed by Odoo.
"Shared inbox" it the pre-defined filter that shows all messages current user has access to. There is a "Private inbox" filter that shows only messages current user is a recipient of.
And you can always define your own custom filters just with any other regular List View.
