Reset Picking and delivery notes
The purpose of the Reset Picking feature is to empower users with the capability to rectify errors or mistakes in the receiving process. In cases where a received shipment contains inaccuracies or requires reprocessing due to unforeseen circumstances, this functionality allows for the seamless resetting of pickings, enabling users to re-receive goods as needed. By implementing this feature, users can work with increased confidence and flexibility, ensuring accurate inventory records.
How to use it
Log in to Odoo:-
- Open your web browser and navigate to your Odoo instance.
- Enter your username and password to log in.

Navigate to the Inventory Overview:
- In the Inventory app, you'll typically find a menu on the left sidebar. Look for an option like "Overview".
View the Overview Page:

In the Receipts folder you will
see all your lines with status “Pending or Received”

The user selects the specific picking that
requires resetting from a list of completed pickings.
The user has to Click on Resetting Picking
button, to change the status of that picking now user can edit
this again as per requirement.
Once the user clicks on the Reset Picking button on that action
status of a particular picking line is auto changes from Done to
Ready for Receiving again.
This Reset Picking function is needed to assign to the users,
Only Assigned users can see the Reset Picking button, not all
users. Give the access under access rights for Reset picking to
the the users to utilize this.
