Product Barcode Generator Functionality
1. "Auto Generate Product Barcode" under the Product Barcode Generate Configuration section in Odoo settings. :
When this option is enabled (checked), Odoo will automatically generate a barcode for a new product when it is created. This ensures that each product has a unique barcode without requiring manual input. If disabled (unchecked), barcodes will need to be manually assigned to products.
2. "Generate All Product Barcodes" button under the Product Barcode Generate Configuration section in Odoo settings. :
Clicking this button will generate barcodes for all existing products in the system. It is useful when products do not already have barcodes and need them assigned in bulk.
3. barcode generation section in the product form view of Odoo :
The "Generate Barcode" button allows users to manually generate or regenerate a barcode if needed. The barcode can be used for product identification, inventory management, and POS (Point of Sale) operations.
4. The "Generate Product Barcode" dialog:
The "Generate Product Barcode" dialog allows you to generate barcodes for selected products. If the "Replace Existing?" toggle is enabled, any existing barcodes for the selected products will be overwritten. To initiate the process, click the "Generate" button. You can cancel the action by selecting "Cancel."
