1) Product Warranty Type:
Set up warranty types based on your business needs, such as standard, extended, or custom warranties.
Navigation : Sales → Configuration → Product Warranty Type
2) Create Product Warranty Type:
Easily create and customize warranty types in a simple form view, allowing you to define details like warranty duration, coverage, and other terms for each product.
3) Product Warranty:
Easily create, renew, and expire warranties, either automatically or manually. Set custom warranty periods such as 1 Year, 1 Month, or 1 Day, with the system automatically calculating the start and end dates based on the selected period.
4) Warranty Renewal:
Users can easily create a renewal warranty once the initial warranty expires, ensuring continuous coverage for the product.
5) Automatic Warranty Renewal:
When a product's warranty expires, users can renew it using a simple wizard. The warranty status will automatically update to reflect the renewal.
6) Child Warranty:
The renewed warranty is referred to as a Child Warranty, which is linked to the original warranty, allowing easy tracking of warranty extensions.
7) View Child Warranty in Form View:
Users can view and manage the details of the renewed warranty (Child Warranty) through a dedicated form view, making it easy to track the status and information related to the warranty renewal.
8) View Product Warranty in List View:
Users can access and manage all product warranties in a comprehensive list view, allowing easy tracking of warranty details, statuses, and associated products.
9) Product Warranty in Sales:
Users can access the warranty form directly from the sales order, and the system automatically generates product warranty information when a warranty is created.
10) Warranty Information in Product:
Warranty information is displayed in the product form view, with the warranty type automatically filled based on the product's warranty settings.
11) Product Warranty Process:
View and manage the product warranty process through a dedicated list view.

12) Create Warranty from Product Warranty Process:
Click the âCreate Warrantyâ button in the product warranty process to automatically fill in the order line based on the selected sale order and customer.
