  • Click on 'Apps'

Microsoft Azure App Registration

  • Create a Microsoft Azure account on the Microsoft Azure portal .
  • Create a new resource ‘App registrations.’
  • Click on 'New registration'

  • Add your app name and choose the account type.
  • Click ‘Register’.

  • After registering your app, you can see your ‘Application (client) ID’

Redirect URL

  • Click on 'Redirect URIs'.

  • Select 'Web' as your redirect URL platform.

  • Under the heading of 'Redirect URL' add your Odoo URL.
  • The format of your URL should be https://domain-name/office. For example, if your domain name is abc, your redirect url would be https://abc.com/office
  • Click ‘Register’.

Client Secret

  • After Successfully configuring the Redirect URL.
  • Go to 'Certificates & Secrets'
  • Click on ‘New client secret’

  • Add description and expiry of your secret key.

  • The key under 'Value' is your client's secret key.

User Configuration

  • Go to Settings -> Users and Companies -> Users and create a new user. Kindly ensure that the email address of the user on Odoo must match the email address on outlook to ensure smooth syncing of your data.
  • Once you have created the user, change the access right to Settings as highlighted in the screenshot.
  • Click on save.

Log in to an Outlook user

  • Click on this gear icon highlighted in the screenshot and click on Change Password.


  • Click on the button in the top right corner of the screen and click on Logout. Log in to the desired user.
  • This is an integral part of our functionality. As Administrator is not a user on Outlook, it is necessary to change the current logged-in user to an Outlook user.

Office 365 Settings

  • After completing the process above, go to Settings and open the user whose account you want to integrate.
  • Copy 'Application ID' and 'Secret ID' from Microsoft Azure portal and enter here.
  • Click on save.

  • You will see the login Office 365 button over there.
  • Click the Login Button, it will open Office 365 login page
  • After successfully login in Office 365 account, you will be able to get access to your Office 365 Account.

  • Enter your Office 365 email id.

  • Check 'Consent on behalf of your organization'
  • Click on accept to accept permissions.

  • After successfully login in Office 365 account, you will see this message.
  • The page will be redirected back to Odoo.

Office 365 Import Operation

  • After Successful login of Office 365 account, here you can see the buttons to perform operation by selecting these buttons you will be able to import and export data between Office 365 and Odoo.
  • In import contacts you can import based on the contact category.
  • If the category isn't selected, contacts of all categories will be imported.
  • In import calendars you can import based on calendar type and category.
  • If the category isn't selected calendar of all categories will be imported.
  • You can activate auto scheduler from here. If you want to perform manual sync, you can import data based on the date range specified here.

Office 365 Export Operation

  • Similarly, export operations can be performed.
  • You can activate auto scheduler from here. If you want to perform manual sync, you can export data based on the date range specified here.

Office 365 Emails

  • Office 365 emails are shown on the contact page.
  • From here you can send emails to your contacts. The emails you will receive will also be shown here after importing them from the Office 365 configuration menu.

Office 365 Activities

  • In All Activities menu, you can see all the tasks synced from Office 365 to Odoo.

Office 365 Import/Export Logs

  • To view logs, you can click on 'Logs' on the navigation menu.
  • Here you can see your logs of import/export operations.

Office 365 Import/Export Exceptions

  • To view errors, occur during the synchronization process. You can click on 'Exceptions' on the navigation menu.
  • Here you can see your logs of errors for import/export operations.

Office 365 Scheduler's Settings

  • If you want to perform the scheduled operations.
  • Enter the duration for auto scheduler.
  • Select the type of schedular you want to run for all users.
  • Click on save.
  • Click on "Apply Schedular" Setting Button.

What is redirect URL?

Redirect URL is used to get auth code/permission code of your Office 365 account.

Is there an auto sync on this app, or do we have to import export manually every time we got an email or a new event on calendar?

Our module has both auto sync option and manual import/export option.

Is there a way the app can create a new contact when importing email from Office 365 if the contact email does not exist in Odoo?

The contact needs in Odoo before emails are sync.

- very bad, almost not existant technical manual nor user manual

- shows buggy behavior, which cannot be solved

- no response from vendor on tickets

- does not work on odoo.sh with custom outgoing mail server. It always shoots an additional mail directly from the outlook mail box. The receiver receives 2 mails. One out of odoo, one out of outlook with same content and different sender address. Very bad!

We are interested in your Office 365 connector application as we are facing some issues with the standard Oddo connector.

We some a few questions regarding your product :
- When the version for Odoo V16 will be available ?
- Can we have access to a demo database to make some rela time tests with our Microsoft account ?
- How does your plugin deals with reccurring events of O365 ?

I am really interested in your Office 365 connector application. 

Indeed we have an Odoo v16 Enterprise On-premise instance. And we need this module compatible with Odoo V16. 

When can you confirm the availability of the module for V16?
I also hope we can have a demo to test in real time and check the details and how it works before we decide to buy it.
