When a category has subcategories, clicking on the category tile will navigate the user to a dedicated subcategory page before showing the products within that subcategory.

Set Up
Go to the Odoo Apps section, search for the "Website Shop Categories Grid View" app, and click to install the app.
Work Flow
After enabling the app, navigate to the Website module in Odoo and open the shop page. You'll notice that your products have been replaced by categories on the shop page.
To adjust the size or layout of the categories, enter editor mode, click on any category image, and select the STYLE menu. You'll find options for 'Number of categories' and 'Number of columns.' Here, you can modify the appearance as needed.
To manage your categories, navigate to the Website module, go to the Configuration menu under the Products section, and click on 'eCommerce Categories.' This allows you to control and organize your categories. In addition to parent categories, sub-categories will also be displayed in the grid layout, thanks to this app. For instance, consider the Furniture category as an example.
When you click on the Furniture category, sub-categories like Chairs and Couches will appear in a similar grid layout.
By selecting the Chairs subcategory, you will see all the products listed under this specific eCommerce category.
