01 Configure SpeeDee API Credentials
Navigate to Settings → Companies → SpeeDee Configuration and enter the required SpeeDee Small Parcel API credentials.Save the configuration to establish a secure connection with the selected SpeeDee shipping service.
02 Configure the Small Parcel Shipping Method
Navigate to Inventory → Configuration → Shipping Methods and create a new shipping method. Select the SpeeDee Small Parcel provider and configure the required shipping settings. Save the shipping method to enable Small Parcel shipment creation, shipping rate retrieval, and ZPL label generation directly from Odoo.
03 Select the Shipping Method on the Sales Order
While creating a Sales Order, choose the SpeeDee Shipping Method (Small Parcel) in the Shipping Method field. The selected shipping method will be carried forward to the Delivery Order and used for shipment creation.
04 Create a Delivery Order by Confirming the Sales Order
Once the Sales Order is confirmed, Odoo automatically generates a Delivery Order. Open the Delivery Order to review the shipment details, package information, and customer delivery address before creating the SpeeDee shipment.
05 Generate the Shipping Label and Tracking Number
Validate Delivery Order to create the shipment with SpeeDee. Once the shipment is successfully processed, Odoo automatically retrieves the ZPL shipping label, tracking number, and shipping charges, and stores them in the Delivery Order for easy printing and shipment tracking.
06 Track Shipment Status
Click the Tracking smart button to view the shipment details. Odoo communicates with SpeeDee to retrieve the latest tracking information and automatically updates the shipment status, allowing you to monitor the delivery progress directly from Odoo.
07 Cancel the Shipment
Click the Cancel button next to the Tracking Number. Odoo sends a cancellation request to SpeeDee, and upon successful cancellation, the shipment is cancelled in both SpeeDee and Odoo, ensuring the shipment records remain synchronized.
After the shipment is successfully cancelled, the Tracking Status is updated to Cancelled in the Delivery Order. Additionally, a confirmation message is automatically posted in the Chatter, providing a record of the shipment cancellation for future reference.

01 Configure SpeeDee LTL API Credentials
Enter the required SpeeDee LTL API credentials, including the authentication details and account information. Save the configuration to establish a secure connection between Odoo and the SpeeDee LTL shipping service.
02 Configure the LTL Shipping Method
Navigate to Inventory → Configuration → Shipping Methods and create a new shipping method. Select the SpeeDee LTL provider and configure the required shipping settings. Save the shipping method to enable LTL shipment creation, real-time shipping rate retrieval, and freight processing directly from Odoo.
03 Select the Shipping Method on the Sales Order
While creating a Sales Order, choose the appropriate SpeeDee Shipping Method (LTL) in the Shipping Method field. The selected shipping method will be carried forward to the Delivery Order and used for shipment creation.
04 Create a Delivery Order by Confirming the Sales Order
Once the Sales Order is confirmed, Odoo automatically generates a Delivery Order. Open the Delivery Order to review the shipment details, package information, and customer delivery address before creating the SpeeDee shipment.

Open the Delivery Order and click the Validate button to create the shipment with SpeeDee.
