Back Order Customer Notification Odoo
The Print Customer Back Order Report app helps you to print a PDF report of all customer
back
orders. You can also notify customers by email when their back orders are filled. This app
is a
great way to keep track of your back orders and to ensure that customers are aware of their
status.
To use this app, go to Sales > Customers > Back Orders. You will see a list of all customer
back
orders. Click on the Print Report button to generate a PDF report of the back orders. You
can
also
click on the Send Notification button to send an email notification to the customer.
This app is a valuable tool for businesses that want to keep track of their customer back
orders. It
allows you to easily generate reports and send notifications to customers, so that you can
ensure
that they are aware of their back orders and when they will be filled.
FEATURES

Print customer back order report: This report lists all your
customer back orders, including the product name, quantity, and date.

Notify customer by sending mail of back-order report: You can
optionally send an email to the customer with the back order report
attached.

Set cron job to send notification to customer's back-order: You can
also set up a cron job to automatically send the back order report to the
customer on a regular basis.

Here is an example of how the app can be used:
- A customer places an order for 10 widgets.
- The warehouse only has 5 widgets in stock, so 5 widgets are backordered.
- The next day, the warehouse receives 5 more widgets.
- The user runs the Print Customer Back Order Report app to generate a report of all customer back orders.
- The report shows that the customer's back order for 5 widgets has been filled.
- The user clicks on the "Notify Customer" button to send an email to the customer informing them that their back order has been filled.
Customer Form
In Customer Form, "Send Back Order" button provided, on click of that button you will be able to send "Back Order Report" to customer.

From "Customer Form", you can print "Back Order Report" of customer by click on "Print -> Customer BackOrders".
Notify to customer by sending mail of back-order report
Using "Customer Back Order PDF Report" odoo app you can send mail notification to customer with specific email template.
Set cron job to send a notification to customer's back-order
"Customer Back Order PDF Report" gives you functionality to set cron job to send notification to customers.
