All In One Advance Unique Number Generator
The Advance Unique Number Generator module provides a flexible and configurable way to
assign
unique identifiers across any Odoo model. You can select the target model, choose the field that should
hold the
generated value, and define the numbering logic based on your business requirements.
The app supports a wide range of numbering formats. With the Prefix–Suffix
configuration,
every newly created record automatically receives a well-structured identifier that follows your
predefined pattern.
This ensures consistent and professional numbering across the system.
For scenarios where unpredictability is required, a dedicated Random Number Generator
allows you to
create identifiers of a specific length—for example, an 8-digit random code such as
94736215. This is
ideal for tokens, reference codes, registrations, or any workflow that needs non-sequential numbers.
Businesses operating with financial-year-based tracking can enable the Financial Year
Sequence.
Once activated, numbering automatically aligns with the configured fiscal year format. You can fine-tune
the output
using customizable parameters such as separators, starting digits, increment values, and maximum
formatted length.
A powerful Legend Format Builder is included, enabling dynamic sequence creation using
placeholders
like %year%, %month%, and %day%. This makes it possible to
generate
structured identifiers such as INV-2025-11-27-0012 or any custom pattern you prefer.
For already existing records, the module offers a convenient bulk numbering action that
applies
the newly defined sequence to older entries as well—ensuring uniformity across both historical and
future data.
Designed with accuracy, flexibility, and automation in mind, this module removes manual numbering
efforts,
minimizes errors, and provides complete control over how identifiers are generated across your Odoo

Setup
Activate the All In One Advance Unique Number Generator module.
After activating, go to the module and enable the Is Connected button. Then select the module and the specific field for which you want to generate a unique number.
If Prefix-Suffix is enabled, a unique number will be generated and assigned to the selected module and field when a new record is created.

If you need a random number, go to the ‘Random’ option, enable the Random button, set the maximum length, and then click the Generate button.
Unique numbers are generated Randomly.
If you want to generate a number in the Financial format, go to the Financial option, turn on the Financial button, fill in the remaining fields, and click the Generate button.

If you want to generate a number in the Legend format, go to the Legend option, turn on the Legend button, select the format, fill in the remaining fields, and click the Generate button.

If you want to generate the same format for all records at once, click the ‘Generate Unique No for All Records’ button.
After clicking on ‘Generate Unique Number for All Records’, in the popup, turn ON ‘Replace Existing Number’ and then click the Generate button.
