Odoo Login Attempts
The Odoo Login Attempts module enhances your system’s protection by
introducing
advanced authentication safeguards and real-time login monitoring —
all seamlessly
integrated into Odoo’s existing user management framework.
This module empowers administrators to configure, track, and control login behaviors
across the organization,
ensuring that every authentication attempt meets defined security standards.
By introducing features like login attempt tracking, account blocking,
and
configurable notifications, it helps prevent unauthorized access and
reinforces
the integrity of user accounts.
Administrators can define the maximum number of failed login attempts,
set automatic account block durations, and manually unlock users when
needed.
This flexibility enables proactive security enforcement while maintaining
administrative control over exceptional cases or trusted users.
The system enhances transparency through email notifications for every successful login
and intelligent new device/IP login alerts. Both users and administrators are instantly
informed of unusual activity, allowing a swift response to potential
threats
or compromised credentials.

delivers a

Activate the "Login Attempts" model.
Go to the Settings module, select "Website", and enable the "Login Security Features" option.
1. The user can attempt to log in only 3 times. 2. When the user logs in, they will receive an email in their inbox. 3. If a user enters the wrong password three times, they will be blocked for 15 minutes. 4. When a user logs in from a new device, an email will be sent to their inbox and the admin’s inbox.
