Colorful kanban task tiles
Bring better visibility into your project app!
Navigating through dozens of open tasks can easily become tedious. This module allows you to categorize the tasks based on the task type & distinguish them in the kanban view visually - by recoloring the whole kanban tile to your desired color.
Choose the logic of color changing
Select what suits you better - color on missed deadlines, or based on task types?
You can decide what works better for your company, recoloring the tiles based on the task type, or you want to immediately see if the task is not completed and someone missed a deadline? It is up to you - just configure it the way you prefer.
Multi-company ready
Each company can select its own preferences
Do you handle multiple companies in your Odoo? That is not an issue - the preferences of displaying the colors on kanban tiles are company-specific. One company can recolor the tasks based on missed deadlines, other based on the task type, and another does not need to recolor anything at all!
Summary
So what are all the things this module adds?
- Possibility to turn on the Task Types (to categorize your tasks) for the whole system in the Project settings
- New model Task Types, with multi-company logic in mind (you can have shared Task Types or limited only for 1 company)
- New menu & views for the Task Types for easy configuration
- New setting that allows setting that a task stage is final
- Possibility to recolor the kanban tiles of Project Tasks, either by the Task Type (configurable on the Task Type), or based on missed deadline in not final stage
