Attendance Manual Entry
The Attendance Manual Entry module for Odoo enables organizations to easily manage employee attendance by allowing manual creation of attendance records directly within the system. This module provides a simple and efficient interface where users can enter attendance for individual employees or entire teams across selected date ranges. It also supports handling absences and ensures that duplicate attendance entries are not created.
Features
Manual Attendance Entry
The module allows users to manually create attendance records for employees when automated tracking systems are unavailable or when corrections are required. Users can easily define a date range along with start and end times to record employee attendance accurately.
Attendance Generation
Attendance records can be generated automatically for a selected date range, making it easy to manage attendance across multiple days. Users have the option to create records for all employees or only selected employees, depending on their needs.
Absent Employee Management
The module provides the ability to mark employees as absent for specific dates, ensuring that attendance records are not generated for them during those periods. This helps maintain accurate attendance data while handling leave, holidays, or unexpected absences.
Duplicate Entry Prevention
To maintain clean and reliable attendance records, the module includes a built-in mechanism that prevents duplicate entries for the same employee and date. Whenever attendance is generated or entered manually, the system checks for existing records before creating new ones.
Filtering Manual Entries
Manual attendance records can be easily filtered and identified within the attendance list. This allows administrators to quickly distinguish between entries created automatically and those added manually.

1.) Adding Attendance Entries
A dedicated interface allows users to manually create attendance entries for employees by selecting a date range and specifying check-in and check-out times. Employees can be chosen individually or collectively, making it easy to quickly register attendance records when automated tracking is unavailable.
2.) Selecting Date Range, Start Time, and End Time
Users can define the exact time period for attendance records by selecting a start date, end date, and corresponding check-in and check-out times.
3.) Selecting Employees
Attendance entries can be generated for specific employees or all employees at once. The option to select all employees helps HR teams quickly create records for large groups, while individual selection provides precision when adjustments are required for particular staff members.
4.) Handling Absent Employees
Employees who are absent on certain dates can be marked accordingly so that attendance entries are not generated for them. This makes it easier to manage leave or absence scenarios and ensures that attendance records accurately reflect employee availability.
5.) Generating Attendance Records
After choosing the required employees and time range, a simple action generates the corresponding attendance entries. The system automatically checks for existing records and avoids creating duplicates, ensuring accurate and clean attendance data.
6.) Filtering Manual Attendance Entries
Attendance records created manually can be easily filtered within the attendance list. This helps users quickly identify and review manually added records, making audits, corrections, or reporting more efficient.
