Hide the Tax in purchase
Hide the Tax in Purchase is a lightweight utility module for Odoo designed to give businesses better control over how tax information appears in purchase documents and bills. In many organizations, tax values are calculated internally but should not always be visible to certain users or on printed documents.
Features
Hide Tax Button in Purchase Orders
The module introduces a Hide Tax button directly within the purchase order interface, allowing users to quickly hide tax details when needed. With a single click, tax values that are normally visible in the purchase order lines and totals can be concealed without affecting the actual tax calculations stored in the system.
Tax-Free Display in RFQ and Purchase Views
Once the Hide Tax option is activated, tax values are automatically removed from the visible sections of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) and purchase order views. Users can continue working with purchase documents without seeing the tax columns or totals in the interface.
Hidden Taxes in Vendor Bills and Printed Documents
The module extends the same functionality to vendor bills, ensuring that tax details remain hidden when invoices are created from purchase orders. When the Hide Tax option is applied, tax values are not displayed in the bill interface or on printed invoice reports.
Screenshot
1.) Request for Quotation View
A dedicated Hide Tax button is available within the purchase order form, enabling users to instantly control whether tax details should appear on the document.
2.) RFQ with Tax Hidden
After activating the Hide Tax option, the purchase order layout becomes cleaner by removing tax values from the visible sections.
3.) Purchase Bill Interface
Vendor bills generated from purchase orders continue the same simplified layout.
4.) Vendor Bill with Hidden Tax Output
The Hide Tax option can also be applied directly within the invoicing process. When enabled, printed bills and invoice outputs exclude tax information, ensuring that shared documents remain concise and aligned with business requirements for document presentation.
