Create Portal User From Contacts
Create Portal User From Contacts simplifies the process of granting portal access to customers, vendors, and other external contacts. Administrators can create a portal account directly from the contact form without navigating through the user configuration menu. The application automatically uses the contactâs existing name, email address, profile image, and partner information. A secure creation wizard allows the administrator to define and confirm the initial password before creating the account. Once completed, the generated portal user is linked with the original contact and can be opened through a dedicated smart button.
Features
One Click Portal User Creation
Create a portal account directly from an individual contact by clicking the Create Portal User button. This removes unnecessary navigation and makes portal onboarding faster for administrators.
Secure Credential Configuration
Enter the contact email, password, and password confirmation through a dedicated popup wizard. Password confirmation validation helps prevent portal accounts from being created with incorrectly entered credentials.
Automatic Contact and User Linking
The newly created portal user is automatically linked to the selected contact. Contact details, partner information, email address, and profile image remain connected with the generated user account.
Duplicate Portal Account Prevention
The application checks whether the contact already has an associated user before creating another account. This avoids duplicate portal users and maintains cleaner user and contact records.
Global Enable or Disable Control
Administrators can activate or deactivate the functionality from the INKERP settings area. When disabled, the portal user creation action is hidden from contact records.
