Website Quote System
Website Quote System allows registered customers to request a custom price for selected products directly from the online shop. Each product can have its own minimum quote quantity, helping businesses control which requests are accepted. Sales teams can review incoming requests, communicate with customers, and create a standard Odoo quotation using the requested quantity and negotiated price. Approved quotes remain available in the customer portal and can be added to the shopping cart for checkout and that approved quantity and price not change .
Features
Product Level Quote Configuration
Custom quote requests can be enabled separately for each product, so the option only appears where it is needed. A minimum quote quantity can also be defined to prevent customers from submitting requests below the required amount.
Quote Request from the Product Page
Registered customers can open a quote form directly from an eligible product page. They can enter the required quantity, expected unit price, and a message explaining their purchasing requirements.
Automatic Quote Reference and Confirmation
Every submitted request receives a unique reference number for easier tracking. A confirmation window immediately displays the selected product, requested quantity, expected price, and current request status.
Complete Quote Review Workflow
Backend users can manage requests through the stages New, Reviewed, Quotation Created, Done, and Reject. Dedicated actions allow the sales team to review, convert, or cancel a request while maintaining a clear processing history.
Automatic Sales Quotation Creation
An accepted request can be converted into a standard Odoo quotation with one action. The customer, selected product variant, requested quantity, and negotiated unit price are transferred automatically, reducing repeated data entry.
Customer Portal Quote Tracking
Customers receive a dedicated Quote Requests section in their portal. They can review all submitted requests, open detailed information, check the latest status, and follow communication related to each quotation.
Add Approved Quotes to the Cart
Once a quotation is approved, the customer can add it directly to the shopping cart. The negotiated price and approved quantity are preserved, and the quantity is protected from accidental changes during checkout.
