Cancel Purchase Order - Three Operation Modes
Easily cancel, reset, or delete purchase orders with automatic handling of receipts and bills.
ð§ Features:
- Cancel receipts and vendor bills automatically
- Reset cancelled purchase orders to draft
- Delete cancelled records cleanly and completely
- Bulk cancel multiple purchase orders
- Easy system-wide configuration from settings
𧾠Configuration:
Go to Settings â Purchases and select your preferred Operation Type for cancelling purchase orders:
- Cancel Only: Cancels order and related documents but keeps records
- Cancel and Reset to Draft: Reverts cancelled PO back to draft
- Cancel and Delete: Cancels and removes the PO and related records completely
ð Usage Guide:
Here, Purchase Order And Linked receipts and bills Will be Done Or Post Stage.
1ï¸â£ Cancel Only
This mode cancels the purchase order. If enabled, related receipts and bills will also be cancelled. The record is retained in the system for auditing or reprocessing.
2ï¸â£ Cancel and Reset to Draft
After cancellation, the PO returns to draft stage and becomes editable. Use this when you want to modify and reuse a cancelled order.
3ï¸â£ Cancel and Delete
The PO is cancelled and permanently deleted from the system. Linked receipts and bills are also removed, if cancellation is allowed.
4ï¸â£ Cancel Multiple Purchase Orders
Select multiple purchase orders from the list view and apply bulk cancellation using the "Action" dropdown. It respects your configuration setting for each record.
