Please install Employees Transliteration Extension

Configuration

Select the language in which you want to receive the transliteration in the Settings of Employees app.
If you choose nothing - the fields Translit Name and Translit Company will not be changed after saving.

Employees Transliteration Extension

After selecting a transliteration language, you will see two additional fields on the HR employee information page: Translit Name and Translit Company. You cannot change them yourself directly. They will be changed automatically after saving the employee information.

After you create a new employee, fill in fields Name and/or choose or create Company and save it, you can see the transliterated version of the filled names in the corresponding fields according to the actual transliteration direction.

Attention In the fields Name and Company you must use only Ukrainian or Latin letters and a hyphen.
In addition, you must use only one language at a time when filling in these fields. Otherwise, you will see the Error message.

Attention English employee and/or company names are transliterating to Ukrainian according to the English pronunciation rules. Check the correctness please.

After you change Name and/or Company fields in the existing employee and save it, corresponding fields will be changed according to the actual transliteration direction.

After you change transliteration direction it will affect Translit Name and/or Translit Company fields in the new employees or employees with Name and/or Company edited.

If the transliteration direction matches the language of the field text, the text will be copied into the corresponding field.
