Last Purchase Price with Line Colors and "Review?" Field

This module helps purchase users compare the current unit price with the last purchase price directly on the RFQ/PO lines. It visually highlights whether the new price is lower, higher or equal compared to the last purchase price and also updates the "Review?" field on the RFQ/PO accordingly.

  Lines in Red: When the last purchase price of the item is lower than the current unit price (meaning the new price is higher).

  Lines in Green: When the last purchase price of the item is higher than the current unit price (meaning the new price is better).

  Lines in Default Color: When the last purchase price of the item is exactly equal to the current unit price.

Review Required

If at least one product line in an RFQ/PO has a unit price higher than its last purchase price, the RFQ/PO is automatically flagged as "Review ? Required". This allows purchase managers to quickly identify documents where price increases need to be checked or approved before confirming the order.

Review Not Required

If all product lines in an RFQ/PO have unit prices that are less than or equal to their last purchase prices, the RFQ/PO is flagged as "Review ? Not Required". In this case, the purchase document can be processed normally because none of the items are being purchased at a higher price than before.

Filters

You can use filters on RFQs/POs based on the "Review?" field to quickly list all records where the unit price is higher than the last purchase price (i.e. documents where at least one line is shown in Red and "Review ? Required"). This makes it very easy for purchase managers to focus on price increases and control purchasing decisions.
