External Link Media
The External Link Media is used to display images on the product pages of the E-commerce Module. It allows users to display images from other resources for their products through a link to the original source. If you have a media gallery on a separate server, or if you resell products hosted on other sites, you don't need to upload the entire gallery to Odoo to open images directly from Odoo. You can also open images from Odoo that are outside of your Odoo database. The External Link Media is dependent on the Sales Application.

How Application Work
In the backend, in the product card on the Sales
tab, instead of the usual images,
we add a link to the images on an external resource.
The frontend displays a list of images in a "carousel" format, which we are used to in the basic functionality of
the Odoo E-commerce Application.
