The Link Media Module is used to display images on the product pages of the E-commerce Module. It allows users to display images from other resources for their products through a link to the original source. If you have a media gallery on a separate server, or if you resell products hosted on other sites, you don't need to upload the entire gallery to Odoo to open images directly from Odoo. You can also open images from Odoo that are outside of your Odoo database. The Link Media Module is dependent on the Sales Application.
