This module customizes the Odoo Point of Sale (POS) application by introducing direct login and tailored role management for portal users. It's ideal for restaurants, cafes, and other businesses needing streamlined POS access for waiters and other staff.
- **Direct Login for Portal Users**: Automatically redirects users to the POS screen upon login.
- **Role-Based Access**: Adds a "waiter" role for portal users with restricted access, alongside "cashier" and "manager" roles.
- **Custom POS Interface**: Displays a "Logout" button for waiters and a "Close" button for other roles.
- **Automatic POS Session Creation**: Automatically initializes POS sessions for assigned configurations.
- **Enhanced User Management**: Links portal users to specific POS configurations.
POS Configuration
Navigate to **Settings → Users** and assign a POS configuration under the "Point Of Sale" tab. This ensures the user is redirected to their assigned POS system upon login.
Role-Based UI Customization
The module adjusts the POS interface based on the user's role:
- Waiters: See a "Logout" button that redirects them directly to the login screen.
- Cashiers and Managers: Retain standard POS functionality with a "Close" button.
