Project Task Code
Manage project and task codes in Odoo systematically and professionally
Project Code Management
- Check for unique project codes
- Prevent project code changes when tasks exist
- Automatically create sequence for each project
Task Code Management
- Automatically generate task codes in format: [Project Code]-[Sequence Number]
- Display task code in task name
- Search tasks by code or name
- Task codes are auto-generated and non-editable
Installation
- Download the module
- Extract to Odoo addons directory
- Update module list in Odoo
- Install "Project Task Code" module
Usage
Creating a New Project
- Create a new project and enter project code
- System will automatically create sequence for the project
- Project code must be unique
Creating a New Task
- Select a project with existing code
- Create a new task
- System will automatically generate task code in format: [Project Code]-[Sequence Number]
Notes
- Project code cannot be changed when tasks exist
- Task codes are auto-generated and cannot be edited
- Tasks can be searched by code or name
