Delete Journal Entry
This application helps to void the unposted journal entry by using 'Void'. Void is geared toward a document or journal entry that has not been completed or wrongly done.

Overview
The Void Journal Entry addon allows
users to void unposted entries across multiple screens with properly
configured journals. Once voided, entries are locked and cannot be
edited or unposted again. User and journal settings control access.
Key Features
Voided record (payment, journal entry) will be read only.
Voided journal items amount will be zero.
Voided entry will not be taken into any accounting report.
User based access configuration.Void action in list view and tree
view.

Displays all Journal entries here.

Posted Journal Entry
When state is 'Posted', User cannot change the journal items.
If User want to change journal items need to unpost entry.

Unposted Journal Entry
When state is 'Draft', User can edit the journal items.
After change user can either post or void the journal
entries.

Voided Journal Entry
User cannot change journal items and unpost entry again, when
state is 'Voided'.
It locks the journal entry.

Note
If you get warning like below image, while doing unpost entry.

User Configuration
Kindly do below configuration, to unpost your entries.
Settings --> Users & Companies--> Users -->
Select users from list --> Check 'Allow to void posted
journal entry'.

Journal Configuration
Kindly do below configuration, to unpost your entries.
Invoicing --> Configuration --> Accounting --> Journals -->
Select journals from list --> Check 'Allow Cancelling
Entries'.


Voided Journal Entry List View
Kindly do below configuration.
Invoicing --> Accounting --> Journal Entries-->
Select the Journal Entries--> click 'Action' button--> click
'Void'

Confirmation message will be shown.

After clicked confirm button, selected Journal entries status
changed into 'Voided'.
User cannot change journal items and unpost entry again.
