Product Multiple Barcodes
The Multiple Product Barcodes & Enhanced Search module is a powerful inventory add-on designed to overcome Odoo's default limitation of assigning only a single barcode per product. In real-world retail and warehousing, a single product often has multiple barcodes (e.g., individual item barcode, box barcode, carton barcode, or supplier-specific barcodes). This module allows users to define an unlimited number of secondary barcodes for any product. Furthermore, it significantly upgrades Odoo’s default search functionality. Users can now instantly find products in the backend simply by scanning or typing any of the additional barcodes or the product's Internal Reference (SKU). This ensures faster checkouts, seamless warehouse scanning, and highly efficient inventory management without creating duplicate products.

By default, Odoo only allows one barcode per product. If your product comes from different suppliers (each with their own barcode) or has different packaging barcodes (piece vs. box), Odoo’s default system can't handle it. This module solves that exact problem.
Absolutely! This module upgrades the backend search. Whether you scan the primary barcode, any of the additional barcodes, or type the internal reference, the correct product will instantly appear in your list.
It is very simple. Go to Inventory > Products, open any product, and you will see a new section/tab for "Additional Barcodes". Simply click 'Add a line' and enter as many as you need.
