Step-by-Step Guide
1. Enable in Settings
Go to Project > Configuration > Settings and enable Recurring Tasks to activate the feature.
2. Enable Recurrence
Open any task and look for the refresh icon in the task header. Click this button to enable recurrence features for the task.
3. Configure Schedule
Once enabled, a new Recurrent tab will appear. Here you can configure the repetition interval (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly), start dates, and end conditions.
4. Preview Dates
The system automatically calculates and displays a preview of the next upcoming task dates based on your configuration. For example, here is a daily schedule showing the next set of tasks to be created.
Configure Scheduled Action
1. Enable Developer Mode
Go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom to click Activate the developer mode.
2. Access Scheduled Actions
Enable Developer Mode and Navigate to Settings > Technical > Automation > Scheduled Actions.
3. Configure the Cron
Search for "Project: Generate Recurring Tasks".
- Execute Every: Set how often the system checks for tasks to generate (e.g., 1 Day).
- Active: Ensure the toggle is on.
- Next Execution Date: Verify when it will run next.
5. Generated Tasks
Tasks are automatically generated. Here you can see the 5 new daily tasks created in the Kanban view.
