Contacts Split by Category

Contacts Split by Categories : Customers, Vendors and Employees

This "Contacts Split by Categories" application enables users or businesses to view contacts sorted by categories. It helps users identify whether a contact is a customer, vendor, or employee. Existing contacts in the system will be categorized accordingly upon module installation, and users can manually change the categories of the contacts as needed.

Contacts Menu

Once you install Contacts Split by Categories application, You will see 3 new menu under Contacts menu. Customers, Vendors and Employees. Contacts menu will have all the contacts regardless of their category, Whereas Customers, Vendors and Employees menu will contain contacts of categories accordingly.

Customers Menu

This menu contains contacts of customers category. These contacts are either created from Customers menu or are manually set as customers.

Vendors Menu

This menu contains contacts of vendors category. These contacts are either created from Vendors menu or are manually set as vendors.

Employees Menu

This menu contains contacts of employees category. These contacts are either created from Employees menu or are manually set as employees.

Contacts View : Form

In Contacts Form, we have added new buttons. 1.Reset Contact type 2.Configure Manually

1. Reset Contact Type : This button will check in system the categories of current contact and will set automatically accordingly.

2. Configure Manually : This button will open a wizard to configure contact type for current contact manually.

Manual Process : Single

From contacts form view, when process Configure Manually, A wizard will open with current contact where you can configure one or more categories of contact manually.

Contacts View : List

In contacts list view, you can select one or multiple records and Configure Manually option will appear in actions to configure multiple contacts to same categories.

Manual Process : Multiple

When manual configuration wizard is opened from list view, user can select All Contacts to configure All contacts available in system or can continue with selected contacts. User can also add contacts to the list bedore processing.
