Consequently, companies end up with different cost prices for the same products at each warehouse, a scenario that's tough to manage in Odoo. But worry no more! Our app is here to simplify this process. It helps you manage average costing on a warehouse-by-warehouse basis, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

- First Enable "Manage Multiple Stock Locations" and "Manage Multiple Warehouses" feature from the general settings.
- Enable "Warehouse Average Costing" feature from the general settings to see costing table in product.
- Assign "Show Full Accounting" Features to appropriate users.
- In product category set Inventory Valuation : Automated and Costing Method : Average.
- Create Multi Warehouse.
- Create a product, Make sure that product should be storable.
- After enable "Warehouse Average Costing" feature you can see warehouse wise costing table in product from view. Here you find the warehouse wise cost of related products.
- Purchase "Paper Weight" product at 100/unit with a quantity of 20 for the Surat warehouse.
- You can select warehouse order line wise.
- Make sure warehouse selection is correct in purchase order.
- You can set warehouse as show in below for the all order line.
- Receipt Order Done.
- As you can see warehouse wise product cost added in that product.
- Now add some landed cost in last purchased product.
- As you can see after add landed cost product cost is updated.
- As you can see after add landed cost product cost is updated.
- Now buy the same product at different prices from different warehouses.
- Receipt Order Done.
- As you can see new cost line are added in costing table in that product for new warehouse.
- Now added some landed cost in last purchase order.
- As you can see after add landed cost product cost is updated.
- Make sale order for that product.
- You can select warehouse in sale order.
- Delivery order Done.
- Create an invoice for that sales order and review the journal entries.
- Check journal entries after make delivery done.
- Now make another purchase order for same product with different price for the "Mumbai" warehouse.
- Receipt Order Done.
- As you can see product cost update in costing table in that product.
- Check inventory valuation report warehouse wise.
- Inventory Valuation report for surat warehouse.
- Inventory Valuation report for Mumbai warehouse.
- You can see warhouse name is visible in the product revaluation wizard.
- After making a manual inventory valuation adjustment, The product cost will updated.
- Now make internal tranfer to tranfer 5 units of goods from one warehouse to another warehouse.
- As you can see product cost updated in mumbai warehouse after validating internal transfer.
