Paying Guest Management in Odoo

Paying Guest Management Odoo app runs a PG or hostel from the first room enquiry to the final rent payment. Guests browse and book rooms on your website, filtering by city and sharing type, and every online booking arrives as an enquiry with the guest details already filled in. Your team works the rest from one place: a dashboard that shows bookings, beds, payments and occupancy at a glance, with filters and charts to spot what needs attention.

From a booking, staff confirm the stay, collect a deposit, build a rent plan and raise the invoice. Rent can be billed one time or on a repeating interval, so monthly tenants are invoiced on schedule without re-keying. Agreements are generated from ready templates, documents are attached to the booking, and a bulk email tool lets you message many guests at once.

Rooms and beds are created with a quick generator and stay linked to the PG, so you can see every bed and which ones are free. Maintenance entries are logged and filtered by type or PG, and reports like Booking History, Bed Status and Allocation History print to PDF or Excel. It suits PG owners, hostel operators and co-living managers who want booking, billing, beds and reporting in one tool.

Online Room Booking

Guests explore and book PG rooms directly from your website, filtering by city and sharing type. Each booking also creates an enquiry for your team with the guest details.

  • Filter PGs by city and room sharing type (2/3/4-Sharing).
  • View room and bed details with color-coded availability (Green = Available, Red = Booked).
  • Create an enquiry with the booking reference and guest details right after the form is submitted.

Click the Room menu, filter by sharing type on the left, and click any room to view and book.

View all beds with ID and floor. Green means available, red means booked. Fill details, choose a bed, and submit your request.

After submission, a thank you page with your booking reference number will appear.

An enquiry is created automatically with a reference number and all the guest details captured from the website form.

Click "Room Find", enter a city and search. Matching PGs appear, and all PGs show by default until you filter.

Search a city (for example Motera, Ahmedabad) and click the icon, so only PGs from that location show. Click a PG to view details.

Filter rooms by sharing type (for example 2, 3 or 4 sharing) and matching rooms appear as cards on the right. Click any to view or book.

This admin dashboard provides a centralized view of PG operations, including bookings, beds,and payments. It offers real-time metrics, filters, and visual charts for effective tracking and decision-making.

  • List views for detailed access to bookings records.

Booking Management

Manage PG bookings, confirmations, deposits, payments and emails in one flow. Everything stays linked and is created for you, which cuts manual work.

Main Features:

  • Create the guest contact and link the booking from the enquiry.
  • Generate deposit, payment structure, and invoice with guided steps.
  • Send booking details via email with pre-filled content in a few clicks.

Clicking "Create Booking" auto-creates the customer (if not exists) and links the booking to them.

If the deposit account is not set in Configuration > Settings > Deposit Journal, a warning appears asking you to set it first.

Create rooms and beds inside a PG in a few quick steps. Rooms and beds stay linked to the PG and are reachable in one click, and clean board views with search filters make them easy to find.

  • Auto-load room details like capacity and charges based on selected Room Type .
  • Easily generate beds from the PG or Room view with a single click.
  • Counters show total and vacant beds for quick tracking.
  • Filter and manage rooms and beds using the left-side search panel (Status, PG, Room Type).

Click "Generate Room" to open a quick tool and create many rooms for this PG at once.

Select a Room Type, and the system will automatically load its details like Total Capacity and Charges. Enter the number of rooms you want to create (e.g., 1), then click the "Generate Room" button to create rooms instantly.

Once a room is created, it links to the PG and is reachable in one click. Use the "Generate Bed" button to create beds inside that room.

This feature offers a complete overview of PG operations through detailed reports such as Booking History, Bed Status, and Allocation History. Admins can view and analyze booking trends and bed usage with ease.

  • View real-time Booking Analysis in chart form.
  • Filter reports by PG, room, and date for targeted insights.
