Stock Inventory Valuation Report
The Stock Inventory Valuation Report app is an audit-ready solution designed to validate your inventory value with precision. Unlike standard stock reports, this module reconstructs the inventory equation (Opening Stock + Purchases - Sales + Adjustments = Closing Stock) for any given period, ensuring mathematical accuracy and traceability. It sources data directly from Odoo's stock moves and valuation layers to provide a "single source of truth" for financial reconciliation. Whether you need a detailed product-by-product audit, a category-level executive summary, or a quick Excel export for external analysis, this tool delivers consistent results across all formats (Screen, PDF, Excel).

- Proves the Closing Balance by calculating: Opening + In - Out + Adjustments.
- Accurate retroactive valuation for any past date, respecting Standard, AVCO, and FIFO methods.
- Drill down by Date Range, specific Product, Product Category, Warehouse, or Location.
- Switch between 'Detailed' for every product, 'Summary' for category totals, or 'Grand Total' only.

Easy Menu Access
Accessible directly from Inventory > Reporting > Stock Inventory Valuation Report. This dedicated menu entry opens the wizard, ready for your configuration.
Comprehensive Data Filtering
Define the scope of your report with precision. Select a custom Date Range (From/To) to analyze specific periods. Filter data by selecting specific Warehouses or individual Locations. You can also narrow down results to a single Product or an entire Product Category.
Configuration: Mode & Method
Tailor the report output to your needs. Choose a Valuation Method (Standard, Average, FIFO) to check costs. Select a Report Mode: 'Detailed' for granular data, 'Summary' for category totals, or 'Grand Total' for a quick bottom line. Customize the Quantity Display to show Signed (ERP style) or Absolute values.
Display Options & Generation Actions
Fine-tune the content: Show Zero Quantity to include out-of-stock items, Include Adjustments for inventory corrections, and Include Internal Transfers or exclude them. Finally, use the action buttons to View on Screen, Print PDF, or Export to Excel.
Interactive On-Screen Analysis
Instantly analyze valuation data in a dynamic List View. The screen clearly displays primary columns: product details, Opening Quantity/Value, Purchase Inflow, Sales Outflow, Adjustment corrections, and the final Closing Quantity/Value.
Extended Analysis Columns
Reveal deeper insights by enabling optional columns. View the computed Unit Cost, separate Adjustment Values, specific Internal Transfer quantities, and even FIFO Remaining quantities and values for advanced costing analysis.
Search, Filter & Group Data
Leverage Odoo's powerful search bar on the report results. Quickly find specific products or apply Group By options like 'Category' to organize the list view for better readability and structural analysis.
Professional PDF Report
Generate a clean, formatted PDF report. The report header shows the selected filter criteria and the beginning of the data table.
Export to Excel
Download the complete dataset as an .xlsx file. Perfect for external auditors or financial teams who need to perform custom formulas, pivot tables, or further data manipulation.
