The Daily Quotes module brings motivation and positivity to your Odoo environment by displaying rotating
inspirational quotes on the login screen. It supports both manually added custom quotes and quotes
fetched from the ZenQuotes API.Designed to work seamlessly with the Advanced Login Page module, it
enhances the login experience with smooth animations and a modern look.
With easy backend management and configuration, users can:Add, edit, or delete custom quotes.Fetch and
store quotes from ZenQuotes.Control which quotes are active. Set dynamic slide intervals and custom
margins (top, left, right, bottom).Maintain a clean centered alignment by default.
Note: This module depends on the Advanced Login Page module to render the quotes on the login screen.

Daily Quotes Menu
This menu lets you fully manage your daily quotes—add new ones, update existing, delete unwanted, and customize styling to match your theme. You can also activate or deactivate quotes to control what's shown. Keep your users inspired with fresh, relevant content tailored to your brand's voice and vibe.

The List View provides a clean and structured layout of all quotes, showing authors, status, and quick actions for better management.
📦 Kanban View
Prefer a more visual interface? The Kanban View organizes quotes into cards, making it easier to scan and manage your daily dose of wisdom at a glance.

The “New” button (highlighted) allows you to manually create your own custom quotes. Clicking this opens a form view for input. You can also retrieve quotes from ZenQuotes API using the other button.

This is the quote creation/edit form. The quote field uses an HTML editor, allowing rich formatting like bold, italic, color, font size, lists, and links. Use this to customize how your quote appears in the app. You can enter the quote text, assign an author, and mark it as active.

This API fetches a stream of inspirational content to keep your dashboard fresh and motivating:

Access the Daily Quotes menu directly from the Settings panel to manage your motivational content with ease. From here, you can add or update quotes, set how long each quote displays (in seconds), and adjust top, bottom, left, and right margins for perfect on-screen alignment. Customize it all in one place.
