1) Overtime in Salary Slips:

This feature calculates overtime based on the employee's working schedule and includes it in the salary slip.

2) Employee Overtime Settings:


In the Employees ➡ HR Settings tab, you can set specific overtime rates for weekdays, weekends, and holidays for each employee.

3) Default Overtime Settings:

This screenshot displays the Overtime Configuration settings where administrators can configure default overtime rates and time difference limits for employees who do not have an individual overtime rate set in their profile.

OT Rate : SIf no overtime rate is defined in the Employee Form, the system will use the default overtime rate specified here.

OT Time Difference Limit : You can set a time difference limit for overtime, defining the maximum allowable overtime duration.

Working Schedule Default : If no working schedule is set in the employee's profile, the system will use the default schedule defined here.

Manual Overtime Configuration : If manual overtime requests are enabled, employees can create their own overtime entries. If not, overtime will be tracked automatically via the system scheduler.

4) Employee Overtime Records:

Employees can only view their own overtime records.

5) HR Manager Overtime Approval:

HR Managers can mark overtime as "To be Approved," and then either approve or cancel it. They can view all overtime records.

6) HR Overtime Salary Rule:

Create a new salary rule called 'HR Overtime Salary Rule' to include overtime calculations in the payslip.

Navigation : Payroll ➡ Contract ➡ New (when setting up the employee contract).

7) Create Salary Structure Types:

Define the salary structure types to categorize and organize salary rules, including overtime, for proper payroll processing.

Set up salary structures to define the components of employee compensation, including overtime.

9) Create Structure Rule:

Define the rules for calculating salary components, including overtime, within the salary structure.

Navigation : Payroll ➡ Rule ➡ New

10) Overtime in Salary Rule Category:

By computing the payroll sheet, the calculated overtime will appear under Details by Salary Rule Category.

11) Overtime in Accounting Information:

After computing the payroll sheet, the calculated overtime will be displayed in the Accounting Information section.

12) Overtime Status after Payslip Confirmation:

Once the payslip is confirmed, the status of the related overtime will change to 'Done'.

14) Overtime Report Generation:

To print the overtime report, go to Overtime ➡ Report ➡ Overtime.

In the wizard, select the Start Date, End Date, and Employee to generate the overtime report.

If the Payslip Detail field is set to True, the report will include the payslip reference and the status of the payslip.
