Cross‑border EPR is mandatory — and the penalties are real
If you place packaged goods on the market in the EU, you owe an eco‑contribution in every country where your products land. Each country has its own Producer Responsibility Organisation, its own portal, its own fee table and its own deadline. Miss one and the cost adds up fast.
Fines up to €200,000
Germany’s VerpackG can penalise unregistered or under‑declared producers by up to €200,000, and France applies fines per infraction. Non‑compliance is not a rounding error.
Marketplace de‑listing
Amazon and other platforms ask for a valid LUCID, IDU or equivalent registration number before they let you sell. No certificate, no listing.
Spreadsheet chaos
Tracking four countries of credentials, weights, rates and deadlines in disconnected spreadsheets is slow, error‑prone and impossible to audit at year end.
One Odoo app for the whole packaging‑EPR workflow
EPR Cross‑Border keeps every credential, fee rate, declaration and reconciliation together in Odoo, so the same product and sales data that already lives in your ERP drives your compliance reporting.
Credentials in one vault
Store LUCID, IDU/UID, ENV and CONAI numbers per company and country, with an audit trail on every change.
Automatic fee calculation
Tag packaging material and weight on product variants, then let the pre‑loaded 2026 fee tables compute what you owe per country.
Declarations & reconciliation
Generate annual, quarterly or monthly declarations, export them for portal upload, then reconcile the PRO invoice you receive back.
From registration to certificate in five steps
A repeatable cycle you can run every reporting period without leaving Odoo.
Record credentials
Capture each country’s PRO registration number and mandate dates.
Tag packaging

Frequently asked questions
Which countries does the module cover?
France, Germany, Spain and Italy — the four largest EU markets with the most demanding packaging‑EPR rules. Credentials, fee tables and declarations are organised per country.
Does it submit declarations to the portals automatically?
It generates country‑specific declaration files you upload to each PRO portal. The module prepares and tracks the filing; the portal submission itself stays a controlled, manual step.
How are fees calculated?
You tag material type and weight on product variants. The pre‑loaded 2026 fee tables then apply the right rate per country to compute the eco‑contribution on your declaration.
Can I use it if my company is not based in the EU?
Yes. The module also tracks authorised representatives per Member State, including mandate dates, which non‑EU producers must appoint to place goods on the market.
Does it work with Odoo Community?
Yes. It runs on both Odoo 19 Community and Enterprise and depends only on standard modules: base, sale, stock, product and mail.
What does the licence cost?
Yes, it is released under OPL-1 with no licence fee. Optional paid services — implementation, annual fee‑table updates and authorised‑representative referrals — are available if you want them.
