Access a centralized list of all submitted overtime requests complete with employee name, job position, grade, department, purpose, and current approval state. Whether you're a Line Manager reviewing your team's submissions or an HR Director overseeing company-wide activity, this view gives you real-time visibility into every request. Filter, group, and search with ease to track pending approvals, identify bottlenecks, and ensure policy compliance.
Submit & Monitor Overtime Request Workflow
Easily initiate a new overtime request by selecting your name, role, and reason for working extra hours. Once submitted, the request automatically moves through a status-driven approval flow: Line Manager - HR - Director. The top status bar keeps you informed of your requestâs current stage, while the chatter panel on the right ensures every update, approval, and rejection is fully logged for audit and transparency. Line Manager Review & Approval
Once an employee submits an overtime request, it automatically moves to the Line Manager Approval stage. At this point, the direct manager reviews the request details job title, department, and justification for overtime. The manager can either approve and forward the request to HR or reject it with comments. Every action is logged transparently in the chatter for traceability and accountability. This step ensures early-stage validation and enforces department-level oversight before HR engagement.
HR Review & Validation
In this stage, the overtime request has passed Line Manager approval and is now under HR Review. With a single click, HR can either approve the request to escalate it to the Director or reject it with a documented reason. At this stage, top management reviews the entire request history and justification to validate strategic relevance and budget alignment. The director can either approve the request for execution or reject it with feedback. Final Approval â Director Decision
At this final step, the request has reached the Director Approval stage signifying the last checkpoint in the overtime workflow.
