Start a fresh Job Cost Sheet for a project or job order from this screen. Click New to define the job, link it to a project, and begin capturing all related material, labour, and overhead costs in one place.
Define Job Cost Sheet Details
Fill in the key header information for this Job Cost Sheetproject, analytic account, job order, customer, and datesso every material, labour, and overhead line is correctly linked to the right job and customer. This creates a clear identity for the job, making reports, tracking, and profitability analysis accurate and easy to follow.
Add Material Cost Lines
Capture all planned material costs for this job by adding product lines with quantities and unit costs on the Materials tab. Each line updates the total material cost automatically, giving you a live view of how much the job will consume before any purchases or bills are posted.
Plan Labour Costs
Use the Labours tab to add planned labour lines with hours and cost per hour, linked to the right job type and product. The sheet automatically totals labour cost and compares it with actual timesheet hours once work is logged.
Capture Overhead Costs
Add planned overhead items on the Overhead tabsuch as equipment rentals, site facilities, or indirect chargeswith quantities and unit costs so theyâre included in the total job cost alongside materials and labour
Open Material Requisitions / BOQ
Jump from the job cost sheet to all related Material Requisitions / BOQ to review or create requests for site materials, ensuring every planned line on the cost sheet is backed by an actual requisition
Create a New Material Requisition / BOQ
From this list, start a new Material Requisition / BOQ by clicking New to request all site materials needed for a job, with dates, department, and status tracked in one place
Link Material Requisition to Job & Project
Fill the requisition header with employee, department, job order, and construction project so every requested item is clearly tied back to the right site and job cost sheet
Add Material Requisition Lines
Define each requested item on the Requisitions Lines tab by choosing the product, quantity, UoM, vendor, and whether it should create an internal picking or a purchase order, so site needs are clearly translated into stock moves or purchases.
Set Picking Details
Configure how requested materials will move by defining the source warehouse, destination site location, and picking type, ensuring every internal transfer created from the requisition follows the correct logistics flow.
Confirm Material Requisition
Once all lines and picking details are set, click Confirm to submit the requisition into the approval and processing flow, so it can generate internal pickings or purchase orders for the job
Generate Picking and Purchase Order
From the Approved requisition, click Create Picking and PO to automatically create the internal stock transfer and purchase order for all requested materials, turning your BOQ request into actionable logistics and procurement documents in one step
Open Linked Purchase Order
From the created requisition, use the Purchase Order smart button to jump directly into the PO generated for these materials, so you can review prices, vendors, and confirm or receive goods without manual searching
Review RFQ from Material Requisition
See the Request for Quotation created from this material requisition, with vendor, deadline, amount, and status all linked back to the job so purchasing can follow up and confirm prices quickly
Link RFQ Lines to Job Cost Sheet
On the RFQ, each purchase line is tagged with its Job Cost Center and Job Cost Line so every material cost flows back to the correct job and cost sheet automatically
Review Internal Material Transfer
See the stock transfer generated from the material requisition, showing what will be moved from warehouse to site, when itâs scheduled, and its current status before validation.
Track Actual Purchased Quantity
As purchase orders are confirmed for this job, the Job Cost Sheet automatically updates the Actual Purchased Quantity and the Purchase Order Lines counter, showing how much of each planned material has been ordered in reality.
Monitor Actual Timesheet Hours
Use the HR Timesheet Lines smart button and the Actual Timesheet Hours column on the Labours tab to see how many hours have really been logged against this job, keeping planned labour and actual work perfectly aligned
Log Timesheets Against Job Cost Lines
Record hours on the correct project, task, Job Cost Center, and Job Cost Line so every timesheet entry feeds directly into the jobâs labour cost and actual hours
Sync Labour Costs with Timesheets
As soon as team members log timesheets linked to this job, the HR Timesheet Lines counter and Actual Timesheet Hours on the Labour tab update automatically, giving you a live view of real labour consumption against your plan.

Use the Projects menu to jump from the job cost sheet into the full project portfolio, where you can review all jobs, stages, and tasks linked to your cost sheets
View All Construction Projects
See your full portfolio of projects in one kanban view, with quick access to tasks, stages, and the jobs linked to each construction project
Navigate to Job Orders
Use the Job Orders menu to switch from the project portfolio into the detailed list of job orders, where each task represents an executable job linked to its cost sheet and materials.
View Job Orders Board
Manage all active job orders in a kanban board, grouped by stage so you can see whatâs pending, in progress, or completed for each project
Plan Job Materials
On the job order, use the Material Plannings tab to list all materials and overhead items you expect to use, with quantities and units, so the site team and procurement know exactly what the job will require
Record Consumed Materials
Use the Consumed Materials tab to log what was actually used on the job, product by product, so you can compare planned vs real consumption and feed accurate costs back into the Job Cost Sheet.
Track Job Material Requisitions
In the Material Requisitions tab, review all requisitions raised for this job, with dates, departments, and statuses, so you can see exactly which requests have generated purchase orders or transfers

Open the Job Costing PDF to see a complete summary of the job header plus detailed Direct Materials, Direct Labour, and Applied Overhead tables, with quantities, unit costs, and totals ready to share or print
