Material Request Workflow - Advanced Approval System
This module adds a smart material request mechanism divided into two levels of permissions with automated approval workflows, notifications, and order generation.
Regular User Permissions
Submit requests for specific products
Specifies the required quantity.
Chooses whether to purchase or manufacture the product.
Administrator Permissions
Receives an immediate notification when the request is confirmed.
Can modify, reject, or approve the request.
Upon approval, a purchase or manufacturing order is automatically created.
When the order is executed (purchase or manufacture), the administrator converts the order to a "Done" status.
Smart Notifications
Notification to the manager when "Confirm" is clicked.
Custom notification if "Purchase" is selected.
Custom notification if "Manufacture" is selected.
When the associated purchase or manufacturing order is opened, a smart button appears that takes you back to the original order for easy tracking.
👤 User Permissions - Mitchell
Permissions screen for Mitchell Admin with "Material Request Approver" role, but no purchase/manufacture notifications enabled.

👤 User Permissions - Marc
"Marc Demo" has "Material Request Implementer" permission with full notifications enabled for both manufacturing and purchase orders.

🏭 Request Lifecycle Tracking
📝 Marc creates a material request, sets quantity, selects action, and vendor.

🔔 Mitchell receives a notification to review Marc’s request.

✅ Admin can approve, modify, or reject the request before creating an order.

🟢 Request approved – "Order" button is now active.

📦 Request marked as "Ordered" – Linked purchase order visible.

🧾 View full purchase order linked with the request.

🏁 Request marked as "Done" – System tracks all statuses.

🏭 Manufacturing Order
Example: Manufacturing Order created from a request for 9 bolts, including BoM details.
