Install the module, enable the MCP endpoint in Odoo Settings, then add that endpoint to Claude (claude.ai or Claude Code) as a custom MCP server. Claude uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, so authentication is automatic on first use. From then on, every conversation with Claude can reach your Odoo through the configured tools.
How do I connect ChatGPT to Odoo?
Add the Odoo MCP endpoint as a custom connector in ChatGPT. ChatGPT will handle the OAuth flow on your behalf. Once connected, you can query Odoo, analyze sales and inventory, and perform supported actions in the same conversation.

Any MCP-compatible AI client. Tested clients include Claude (Desktop, claude.ai and Claude Code CLI), ChatGPT (via custom MCP connector), Gemini CLI and Cursor. Other MCP clients work as long as they follow the standard protocol.
Which Odoo modules can the MCP Server work with?

Yes. Every tool call runs as a real Odoo user. Access rights, groups, and record rules still decide what is readable or writable. The AI cannot see or change anything the connected user isn’t already allowed to see or change.
