Installation Guide
Introduction:
The integration requires you to retrieve an API key from your Stripo.email account. Once you have the API key, the Odoo wizard will guide you through the setup process.
Prerequisites:
- An active Odoo instance.
- An active Stripo.email account.
1. Install Stripo Connector App on Odoo:
a. Log in to your Odoo instance as an administrator.
b. Navigate to the Apps module.
c. Click on "Update Apps List" once you have downloaded the app.
d. Use the search bar and type in "Stripo Email Templates" to locate the app.
e. Click on the 'Activate' button next to the "Stripo Email Templates" app.
Retrieve Your Stripo API Key
a. Log in to your Stripo.email account.
b. Navigate to Account Settings > Workspace > Projects & Groups.
c. Select your project, then click the REST API tab.
d. Click Generate (if no key exists) or copy the existing API key.
e. Paste the key into the Odoo wizard. Direct link: my.stripo.email > Projects & Groups > REST API
How to Use
0. Prerequisite: In Stripo.email, go to Email Messages > New Message, design your email and save it with a name.
1. In the Email Marketing app, open a mailing and click "Import Stripo Email Templates".
2. Select your saved Stripo email from the dropdown.
3. Click Import - your Stripo design is now loaded into Odoo!
4. Press "/" in the email body to insert dynamic content like your customer's name.

Will your App work with Community edition? I think Community edition doesnt have email templates, correct?

Yes, it works with the community edition also. For email marketing, you can activate the “Email Marketing” app (https://www.odoo.com/app/email-marketing). For normal email templates, you can find those in Settings > Technical > Email - Email Templates after you activate the developer mode.
