Installation

To install this module, you need to:

Download the module and add it to your Odoo addons folder. Afterward, log on to your Odoo server and go to the Apps menu. Trigger the debug mode and update the list by clicking on the "Update Apps List" link. Now install the module by clicking on the install button.

Upgrade

To upgrade this module, you need to:

Download the module and add it to your Odoo addons folder. Restart the server and log on to your Odoo server. Select the Apps menu and upgrade the module by clicking on the upgrade button.

you connect to odoo database and run this command:
DELETE FROM ir_ui_view WHERE arch_db::text LIKE '%anglo_saxon_accounting%';

this will delete the leftover from your database which is causing the error and preventing you from accessing the settings page

Steps to fix:

* Enable debug mode

* Navigate the views menu under settings -> technical -> user interface

* search for the view containing the field "anglo_saxon_accounting" , ensure to search inside the view architecture

* delete the view from the db

* upgrade om_account_accountant module

When I create a new transaction from the dashboard to reconcile my payments I find that I cannot create any transactions and it shows header called bank statements

if you have installed odoo mates bank statement application, you can uninstall the app, ensure it is not uninstalling any other app, then install this oca app: https://odoo-community.org/shop/account-reconcile-oca-12428#attr=940117

* uninstall odoo mates bank statement

This product is very good, it is better to view the data directly on the web page without exporting pdf like the official one, and the code is better formatted, so that it is more standardized. pycharm can use ctrl+shift+l to achieve this function

Partial reconciled partner ledger issue

For the versions odoo 16 and odoo 17, accounting/accounting/partner ledger does not recognize partial reconciled invoices. For Example: A customer with invoice amount due $100 paid $40, partner ledger shows $100 is still due instead of $60.

We are currently facing an issue while working with a dynamic access to models in a custom implementation on Odoo 17. During the evaluation of a many2one field, the following condition is triggered:

However, when this line is executed, Odoo raises the following error:

From our analysis, it appears that the model 'account.analytic.group' is not present in the registry at runtime, which leads to the KeyError. This may be due to the related module not being installed, loaded, or possibly deprecated in Odoo 17.

after installing i am unable to access the settings, i get this error:
