Mass Update Dynamic Relations for Odoo 17

Bulk-edit relational fields the smart way

The base Mass Update module handles Char, Text, Integer, Float, Date and more. This extension adds relational field (Many2one and Many2many) support so you can bulk-update partners, products, tags, users or any linked record — without writing custom code. Smart widgets read each field’s relation and open the correct model picker every time.

How to Use — Step by Step

Install Both Modules

Install Mass Update — All in One Record Updater first, then install Mass Update Dynamic Relations.

Open Mass Update Configuration

Go to Settings > Technical > Mass Update > Configuration to manage which models allow bulk updates.

Add Models & Enable the Action

Add the object(s) you want to bulk-edit, then click the (+) button to add the Mass Update action to that model’s list view. Use (−) to remove it.

Select Records & Open Mass Update

In the list view, select the records you want to change, then choose Mass Update from the Actions menu (gear icon).

Update a Many2one Field

Add a line, pick a Many2one field (e.g. Customer on Sales Order) and choose the new related record. The picker automatically opens the correct model for that field.

Update a Many2many Field

Pick a Many2many field (e.g. Tags on Sales Order), choose an operation — Add, Remove or Clear — then select the related records. With Remove, only values already linked on your selected records are shown.

Click Update

Click Update to apply all changes to every selected record at once. The update is logged in Mass Update history.

Many2many Operations

Add Link new records to the field on all selected records
Remove Unlink selected records; picker shows only values already present on selected records
Clear Remove all linked records from the field on every selected record
