Key Features of Merging & splitting process in Sales and Purchase Quotations
1. Merging process in Sales quotations:
Simply select the Quotations that we need to combine then click on the ‘Merge Orders’ button inside the server action.
Once the merging process is completed, it will automatically redirect users to the newly combined record of Quotation.
The Quotation which we used to combine will be switched to ‘Canceled’ state.
2. Merging process in Purchase quotations:
Simply select the RFQ’S that we need to combine then click on ‘Merge Orders’ button inside the server action.
Once the merging process is completed, it will automatically redirect users to the newly combined record of RFQ.
The Quotations which we used to combine will be switched to ‘Canceled’ state.
3. Splitting process in Sales quotations:
Click on the ‘Split Sales Order’ button to divide the sale order into two by splitting the order lines based on our custom needs.
A new popup will be open and we can adjust the quantities based on our custom needs then simply click on the ‘Split’ button.
Once the Splitting process is completed, it will automatically redirect users to the newly splitted record of Quotation with the splitted quantity.
Also users are able to track the parent record of the splitting process in the ‘Source Order Reference’ field.
4. Splitting process in purchase quotations:
Click on the ‘Split Purchase Order’ button to split the quotations into two by splitting the order lines based on our custom needs.
A new popup will be open and we can adjust the quantities based on our custom needs then simply click on the ‘Split’ button.
Once the Splitting process is completed, it will automatically redirect users to the newly splitted record of Purchase order with the divided quantity.
Also users are able to track the parent record of the splitting process in the ‘Source Order Reference’ field.
