Yes, the app works perfectly well with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.SH) as well as Community. Odoo Online (Cloud) does not allow installation of third-party apps and hence this app cannot be installed on Odoo Online.

If you purchase our app for Odoo Version 12 and prior, we will provide you access to all the versions up to 12 depending on their availability. Starting version 13, every version of the app will be sold separately. We offer free support for a duration of 90 days from the date of purchase. Kindly read our support policy to know the details.

No, you cannot export the products from Odoo to ShipStation.

Yes, with this connector you can get the Shipping Labels and Tracking Link from ShipStation to Odoo directly.

Yes, you need to sync the products from ShipStation to Odoo before to make the shipping services work seamlessly. If you do not synchronize the products, you cannot Export Orders from Odoo to ShipStation.

Once your label is generated, you cannot modify the delivery address of the recipient. In this case, you need to cancel the whole Sales Order and create the new one.

Works Great for our Use Case, Good Support

This app works great for our use case. We use this app to export and ship orders through ShipStation when they require certain configurations that are not available through Odoo's built in shipping modules. This includes shipping anything via USPS (Odoo no longer supports it), choosing custom insurance values, and all international shipping.

When we need to ship using one of these special cases, we export the order to ShipStation, and once shipped, the tracking information is sent back to Odoo when the delivery order is validated, and it's then sent to our eCommerce platform. This use case works well.

We did encounter one issue where the HTS codes were not being exported from Odoo to Shipstation for international shipments. We require HTS codes to be entered for international orders. Emipro debugged the problem and created a patch for us to fix the issue. The patch is now included in the latest release.

Thanks for the great support. No app is perfect but as long as they are willing to work quickly to fix any issues that arise, that's what really counts.


So Many Issues

We have purchased many Emipro apps, but this is the worst. A few major problems:

  • When the app fails to validate a delivery order, it spits out an error that does not tell you the affected record making it impossible to resolve.
  • When the Validate Delivery Orders action is run, it does not skip past the broken record and loop through the rest of the delivery orders if it hits an error. Once it hits one error, the operation is killed. 
  • The "Cheapest Carrier Selection" boolean box does not work and makes the app fail.
  • We have a random selection of orders that have been picked and shipped, and then the app fails to validate the Delivery Order as it doesn't carry through the lots/serials from the associated pick.

The app also has a major design flaw:

  • The ShipStation settings are configured by the Sales Team, not the Shipping Method.
  • The SS Instance and Store fields are not automatically set on the Delivery Order, causing issues with orders exporting.

Emipro support is good when they respond, but the majority of our issues remain unsolved after two months of troubleshooting.

The processes below are not available:

  • Receive feedback from Shipstation (Order is Completed, Order is Cancelled), tracking number, delivery service
  • Export Current stock from Odoo to Shipstation
  • Receipts from Vendors. When you purchased new SKU then there's now way to send it to ShipStation for receipt.
