Key Features
Company Settings Master
Maintain company-wise TAN, name of deductor, and responsible person for filing from a dedicated TDS/TCS configuration menu.
Accounting & Automation
Map default TDS and TCS payable ledger accounts and auto-create tax certificates and journal entries whenever bills or invoices are posted.
Section-Wise Rates & Thresholds
Pre-seeded TDS/TCS sections carry their own rate, annual threshold, and higher non-filer rate — e.g. 194C, 194J-tech, 194J-prof, 194Q, 206C.
Partner PAN/TAN & Certificates
Store partner PAN/TAN, choose a default section, flag ITR non-filers,and record lower TDS/TCS deduction certificates with validity dates.
Automated TDS/TCS Calculation
On posting, TDS/TCS is auto-computed from the section rate, showing live TDS %, tax amount, and net payable on the bill or invoice.
Open Company Settings from the TDS/TCS Configuration menu to list each company's TAN, name of deductor, and responsible person for filing.
Enter company PAN/TAN and deductor details, map the default TDS/TCS payable accounts, and enable auto-create certificate and journal entry on post.
Browse pre-seeded TDS/TCS sections showing each section code, rate %, annual threshold, higher non-filer rate, and new act reference.
On the contact's TDS/TCS tab, capture PAN/TAN, enable Apply TDS/TCS with a default section, flag ITR non-filers, and add lower TDS/TCS certificates.
On posting a vendor bill, TDS is auto-computed from the section rate — showing TDS %, TDS amount, and net payable — with the tax certificate created automatically.
The vendor bill's TDS tab applies the default section, computes TDS per section rules, and shows the linked tax certificate and approved rate.
On a customer invoice, TCS is auto-applied on the total — displaying TCS %, TCS amount, net receivable, and amount due.
The invoice's TCS tab shows the applied TCS section, the computed TCS amount, and the net receivable for the customer.
