Loan Management
This Odoo Loan Management Module makes handling loans simple and hassle-free. From creating and approving loans to managing EMIs and automating journal entries, everything is streamlined in one place.
It helps you stay organized, reduce manual work, and keep loan management smooth and transparent.
Latest Features
You can easily create new loan applications and approve loans directly within the module.
In Loan Management Module you can calculate the EMI based on the loan amount, interest rate, and tenure, making it easy to manage repayment schedules.
This module keeps track of each EMI payment due, including the principal and interest amounts, ensure that repayments are made on time.
This module provides an option to pay off the full loan amount anytime.
This module allows easy management of loan charges and you can create Journal enteries from Loan Charges
Automatically generates journal entries for loan disbursements, repayments, interest, and fees. This ensures accurate financial tracking and reduces manual data entry errors.
You can reverse a loan disbursement by reversing the respective journal entries. This ensures that the loan balance and financial records are updated.
To use the Loan Module the User must be either Loan User Or Loan Manager
To create loan, you need to assign Loan User or Loan Manager role to the user.
Navigate to Settings > Users, and assign the user as the Loan Manager.
User Roles for Loan Management
This module creates the following user roles-
1. Loan User- Can create loan, loan charges, pay EMIs.
2. Loan Manager- Can create & approve loan. Reverse Loan Disbursement.
By clicking on the Loan section you will get the Loan Menu and by clicking on New you can create your entry.
Fill the required details in the Loan Form View after completing the fields click on the send button for the approval of the Loan Form.
Loan Approval
After completing all the necessary fields in the Accounting Tab, you will be able to move further for the approval. By clicking Approval the status will be change of the Loan.
In the app you will able to Calculate the Installment just by clicking the Button in the EMI Tab to compute the EMI.
Loan Charges
The system will showcase all the loan charges along with the EMI details.
By clicking the Create Loan Charges button you will get all the journal entries.The "Create Loan Charges" button is only visible when adding a new charge and disappears once added, keeping the interface clean and uncluttered.
With a click on the "Charges Section" button you can view the loan charge entries.
Loan Charges Enteries will be display on the screen for the review.
If you want to revert the loan disbursement charges, click on the button which is visible on the down right corner.
To proceed with loan Disbursement, click on the Disbursement button.
You can verify that journal entries of Disbursement, Loan charges and EMIs have been removed from the loan using the Revert Disbursement button.
When you delete your loan, a warning message will appear on the tab.
