Setup & Configuration

Install Odoo Product Personalizer
From App Menu > Install Module

1. Module Configuration

Go to: Sales → Products → Products, and open the product you want to configure. Once installed, navigate to the Product Designer Settings (visible as the Print To Web tab) to enable SVG editing features.

2. Add Product Configuration:

In the product view, go to the "Print to Web" tab. Click "Add a line" to define your product’s size specifications such as Height, Width, and other relevant settings.

3. Add Product Designs to Your Item

Go to: Sales → Products → Products Variants → Select a Product (e.g., Business Card) Then, click on the Product Designs tab. Under this tab, you can upload and manage different product design templates. These serve as base designs that users can customize using the product designer (e.g., business card layouts, mug artwork, etc.).

4. Enable Google Font Api Support

Go to: Settings → General Settings, then scroll down to the Google Font API section.Paste your Google Fonts API key in the field provided. This enables access to a wide range of fonts inside the Product Designer for customized text styling.

5. On the product page (e.g., Business Card), click the "Customize Design" button. This opens the product editor where users can visually customize the design—including modifying layout, images, and text—before adding the item to their cart.

6. sales manager can view the customized design by clicking the “View Design” button directly in the sales order line.

Yes, you can use Google Fonts in the product designer! However, you need to configure your Google Fonts API key in the General Settings to enable this feature.
