Configuration Guide
Follow these simple steps to set up the Product Personalizer.
1. Enable TUS Product Personalizer
Navigate to Configuration → Settings in the Sales app. Check the "TUS Product Personalizer" box and configure the Global Canvas options (width, height, background color).
2. Variant Creation
Go to Sales → Products and open the Attributes & Variants tab. Create attributes (e.g., Color, Size) and assign values. This enables the bulk variant matrix.
3. Enable Personalization for Product
In the product settings, navigate to the Personalize section. Enable "Is Personalize" and define the canvas dimensions and output formats (PDF/SVG/PNG) for this specific item.
4. Variant-Based Design Areas
Select a specific product variant to assign distinct design areas. This allows different print zones for a Black T-Shirt vs a White T-Shirt.
5. End-User Product Customization
On the eCommerce frontend, customers click "Customize Design". This launches the web-based visual editor.
6. Variant Swapping in Editor
Users can swap product colors/variants directly inside the designer without losing their artwork.
7. Add Artwork & Text
Users upload images, insert shapes, and add text. Layers can be reordered and effects can be applied dynamically.
8. Save as Template
Designs can be saved as templates. Returning customers can reuse their saved logos/designs on future orders.
9. Preview & Download
Before finalizing, users can preview the rendered output and optionally download a watermark-free proof.
10. QR Code Generator
Users can generate and insert QR codes directly in the designer for URLs, contact details, or promotional links on printed products.
11. Backend Sales Order Review
Sales managers can view the finalized, print-ready SVG/PNG directly from the Sales Order line by clicking "View Design".

Request for Odoo Customization – Cumulative Pricelist by Product Variants + Online Customization
Hello,
I’m writing to ask for your support with a specific customization we need on our Odoo 18 system.
We sell apparel products that have different variants such as size, color, and print position. We have already created a product category for apparel and set up a pricelist with quantity-based discounts (for example: 1 piece = €20, 100 pieces = €5).
However, we have encountered a limitation: Odoo currently applies quantity discounts separately for each variant. This means that if a customer orders 50 pieces of size S and 50 pieces of size XL, the system calculates the price for 50 pieces twice, instead of treating the order as a total of 100 pieces.
What we need is a customization (or module) that makes the pricelist cumulative across all variants of the same product template. In other words, the system should sum the quantities of all variants for the same product and apply the correct price level based on the total quantity.
Additionally, if the same module could also allow online product customization with the customer’s own graphic (e.g., uploading their logo or artwork and previewing it on the product), it would be a perfect solution for our needs.
Could you please let us know if this is possible, and if so, provide an estimate of the time and cost required to implement it?
