Installation

1. Install the module through the Apps menu
2. Configure user groups and permissions
3. Set up cost codes and project templates
4. Begin creating construction projects

Configuration Flow

Group Access

• First give access to the User from the user groups for project stage
  
  



User Rights

• Allow User to construction related rights and also give access to user or an manager for progressive payment terms rights.
  
  



Cost Codes

• Cost Codes define category of your cost for your construction project.
  
  
  
  



Link Cost Codes with Product

• Cost codes have different category for project for all you have to link the product for the the required
  category so direct get for that category whenever apply. Also Set price for the product in cost codes.
• For cost code product create a product base on cost codes define with product type is service or an
  consumable/storable which will use as purchase side, so direct link with cost codes.
• In below cost code is equipment so storable product which use as purchase the product,
  This way you all configure cost codes base on your requirements link products with cost codes.
  
  
  
  


• In Below cost code is labour so service type product link this way base on cost codes product link with cost.
  
  

Lead Creation

• Create a lead from crm for construction project and mark stage on Proposition.
  
  



Quotation

• Create Quotation from the lead.
  
  


• Product add in order line is always service type so project will link with sale order.
  
  



Project Creation

• After Confirm the quotation to make sale order when it confirm the project is created and link with the sale order.
  
  


• Verify Before select the construction template that from construction templates it is approved or not ,
  if no then first approve them.

• Show BOQ Templates Which is default added in the the construction templates.
  
  



Construction Project Creation

• Construction Project link the construction template to link the BOQ items with project.
  
  


• After Select template and Save that boq items created and link.
  
  



Boq Item Created

• Boq Item (task) created base on construction template selected.
  
  


• Define BOQ Details and then Approve that for further processing, if any subtask present then first approve them
  then main task approve, for all task boq details fill for quantity.
  
  


• First Check Subtask present then approve that first then approve the main task,
  This way approve all subtask and main task.
  
  


• All Sub-task and Main task approved so show in the approved stage.
  
  


• Update all Approved Task stage from in progress to approved which is odoo standard stages
  
  



Purchase Order Generate

• From Approved task create purchase order for that selected task.
  
  


• Select task for include in the purchase order.
  
  


• In the products tab show all products which is link with the project also link with purchase.
  Then Confirm order for purchase products from vendors.
  
  



Assign Subcontractor

• Configure subcontractor for your project handle work with retention percentage for their work.
  Also you can show their performance for their work on project.
  
  


• Add Milestone for subcontractor to convert project in smaller task when they complete one by one then each milestone invoiced.
  Handle stage base on Contract Activate or work completion
  
  



Documents Management

• For Manage the documents related configuration see from this menu.
  
  


• See All Document directores for Project with auto create base on documents define
  
  

Upload Documents

• Document Upload Configuration menu for upload the document related construction.
  
  


• Define Project and document directory for project link with documents.
  
  
  
  
  
  


• Also you can upload direct from the project in the document management tab open and upload from this also.
