POS Payment Method Restriction for Odoo helps businesses control the visibility and usage of payment methods in the Point of Sale. This module allows payment restrictions based on customers, countries, POS shops, cashiers, products, calendars, and order amounts. Businesses can manage which payment methods should appear during checkout under specific conditions. The app improves payment control, cashier management, secure transactions, and POS workflow automation. It is suitable for retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, fashion stores, furniture shops, and multi-store businesses using Odoo POS. The module works directly inside the Odoo Point of Sale system and helps prevent unauthorized payment usage during checkout.

POS payment method restriction Workflow

- Enable Log in with Employees from POS Settings for cashier-based restrictions.

Payment Methods Configuration
Open the Payment Methods menu to configure and manage payment methods for the Point of Sale system.
Configure Card Payment Restrictions
Configure the Card payment method with Restricted Customers, Restricted Countries, and Restricted POS conditions to control payment method availability during POS checkout.
Default POS Payment Behavior
In the default POS configuration, all configured payment methods are visible during checkout when no restrictions are applied.
Restricted Payment Method Validation
After opening the Furniture Shop POS and proceeding to checkout, the Card payment method is hidden due to the configured restrictions.

Configure the customer Azure Interior and country United States to apply customer and country-based payment restrictions.
